Teachers Gift

Today was the first official day of pre-K for my little Boo. He looked so cute in his school uniform! Here is the gift I made for his teacher. I figured that she didn't really need candy or junk food so I would make her something useful. I took the pattern for the backpack from SCS as inspiration and made a similar design that fits the dimensions of the 20 cards I made. There are 10 boy and 10 girl birthday cards for her to give out to the children for their birthdays. Sorry for the bad pics I took them just before heading out the door...

Hope you have a good day

More Club Scrap Cards

So here are some more of the cards I have made in the last few weeks.

I got this idea from Split Coast stampers member Karen Dunbrook her card http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1745363

I used a circle punch and cut the circles inhalf before layering them on the base shape.

I think this is going to be my Christmas card for this year. CS starfish stamped on velum then heat embossed. I used the swirls Cuttlebug folder run through my Bigshot and sequence from a Joanns grab bag.
Butterfly punch and scrap paper....

The magnolia image is by my friend Krisa at http://alteredegodesigns.wordpress.com/ She will be opening an Etsy stor to sell digi's soon, I can't wait! For this card I actually broke out my sewing machine. I really have to try this more often! As before CS paper digi is colored with crayloa pencils and home made flowersoft. I used floral foam that I colored with yellow acrylic paint.
This is one of my favorites that I have made lately. Once again the idea came from a SCS member; http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1765167 her blog is here http://www.princessscrapperstamper.blogspot.com/
My version used a digi that I got for free no idea where but I LOVE it. The digi is colored with my crayola pencils and smoother with baby oil and a q-tip, the ribbon is recycled from a gift. There are more to come when I find out where I filed the photos....

Cards!!!!

Well I have spent the last 5 weeks playing over at Club Scrap, doing the Summer Camp PSL. So there are lots of things to post! I joined the card and paper scrapbook teams so I am dividing my posts as such. Now on to the cards :)

Club Scrap Jubilee papers with flowers I made by punching then inking card stock. I used upside down silk flowers and sparkle brads for the centers. The stems are an awesome stamp from CS kit Be Still I believe.

Once again Jubilee papers, with a digi bunny stamp and bear I picked up free from priscillastyles.ning.com/ the artist is Delicious Doodles for the bunny cant remember who for the bear. While playing with the balloon stamp I noticed I could make animals. Yes I have issues... I am planning a post on just how many I came up with...

That's all for tonight more to come tomorrow...
