Stationery Box #1

Hi there! I am back again with the first of 6 box sets that I made for the teachers at Boo's school.  I found the directions for this project at Splitcoast Stampers in their Resources section.  I love their tutorials as they are super easy to follow.
Here is a look at all 6 boxes;

Now on to box #1.  I used DCWV paper and card stock  from my stash, with a silk flower as an accent.

The box open.

Open with all the contents, 6 cards, 3 note cards, 3 tags and a mini book to keep track of birthdays.

I added embroidery floss and made a mini tag stamped with the greeting and embellished with a tiny gem.

Simple card embellished with ribbon.
Top card stamped with stamp from Club Scrap.

This card is stamped with Happy Birthday on the inside, cake is a digi stamp I picked up some where.

So that's all for box #1 I will be back tomorrow with the next box....

Origami Crane Mobile

I volunteer at my Boo's school 2 days a week and help not only his teacher but some of the others as well.  For the teacher in the older class K-2 I decided to do an end of year project and have the kids help me.  I gathered them in groups of 4 and took them step by step through folding an origami crane.  Each child made one and signed their name or initials on one of their birds wings.  I too them all and strung them on nylon thread with a faux pearl on the end to keep the thread from pulling through.  I cut a circle of cardboard with my craft knife an decoupaged it with blue papers. I tied the cranes at varying lengths and added a disc in the center with the year on one side and a thank you on the other...

Needed less to say she loved it

What I have been up too...

Been really busy lately but finally found the time to post!  Took me a while to wade through all the pictures I have taken lately... Around 2000 in the last couple months :) But I found the pictures of my projects...

I will start with some projects I did for Easter for my Baby Boo's teachers.

I made these cute little bunny baskets using my scalloped circle and oval Nestabilities dies.
I also made "sour cream" containers filled with candy, for all the kids in the class out of DCWV papers.
I used digi stamps from Dustin Pike colored with pencils to decorate each one.
That's all for today more to come tomorrow :)
